-->

First of all, I want to note that oak is the best material for both parquet and laminate. Among its main advantages are such as durability, strength and hardness. In addition, the oak is aging very beautifully. True, with regard to the laminate, in this case its strength is not so important than the design functions. Natural oak, both for parquet and for laminate, has light golden hues with high contrast fibers, i.e. for example, on one board at the same time light and dark areas can be observed. Natural oak has several subtones: golden, greenish and even reddish shades.

Oak laminate

Laminate oak is quite actively used in many interior styles, not only in classical and ancient, but also in modern ones, for example, in the eco-minimalism that is so popular today, as, indeed, in other ecological styles. After all, the color of natural oak gives the interior naturalness and naturalness, and also, it goes well with other materials and shades, which, of course, is a big plus. Laminate imitating an oak board is one of the most popular floor coverings today, which is not surprising. After all, oak represents the classics of flooring, being a noble material. The assortment is unusually large, as manufacturers not only imitate natural oak, but also process them in different ways: heat treatment, brushed or bleached. That is why oak laminate for a long time continues to be at the peak of fashion, thanks to its solid and solid appearance.

The laminate under the aged oak looks very impressive, which is ideal for styles such as country, rustic and vintage. Among other things, this type of laminate is very practical due to the fact that joints will not appear so noticeably over time, due to its texture.

Varieties of oak laminate patterns

Conventionally, the types of decors with an oak pattern can be divided into three groups:

  • single-cavity - quite popular nowadays, can beveled, recommended for spacious rooms, have a wide range, however, there is one minus - sometimes they give the impression of a village house, which is not always desirable for a city apartment;
  • two-cavity - have a pattern that imitates short floorboards, i.e. classic plank flooring, perfect for large areas and are widely used today;
  • three-cavity - represent an imitation of piece parquet, consisting of small dies, this type is most recommended for small rooms

The longest and widest laminate board (and parquet too), which has a very solid and beautiful appearance, has gained the most popularity today. The floor acquires uniformity, despite the contrast of the oak pattern.

Also, the laminate can have a deck pattern, which visually crushes the floor, while creating a play of light and shadow.

In general, depending on the pattern and color, the laminate can be the most diverse. The most common, perhaps, laminate is a natural oak, as well as gray and cognac oak. However, there are other species, such as bleached and dark oak.
