Pediatricians recommend giving radishes to babies from the age of three years. It should be finely chopped and in this form in small quantities added to salads. Parents need to monitor the condition of the child: if he begins to complain of abdominal pain, the ingredient from the diet should be removed immediately.

Despite the useful composition of radishes, not everyone can use it. There is a fairly extensive list of contraindications: in these cases, it is worth completely excluding the vegetable from the diet.

Who can eat?

Radish is a root crop that has a large number of nutrients. Using this product, you need to listen to the body: if there is a disorder from the gastrointestinal tract, it is recommended to refuse it.

You can eat a vegetable in such cases:

  2. During lactation. During breastfeeding, a young mother is better off giving up radishes. This is due to the fact that the specific taste of the vegetable can negatively affect milk: it will become bitter, the baby will not want to drink it.
